Sittruli Foundation along with Decathlon’s support organised the awareness camp on February 24th, 2018. Hello FM supported the cause by spreading the news among the Coimbatore mass.
Beyond the difficulties they had in reaching the location. Nearly 25 differently abled people along with their families reached the camp. After a brief introduction and welcome address by Lalith, the founder of Love and Acceptance Foundation, Mr.Rajan, Internal Basketball Refree and Coach, addressed the crowd on the details of the game. Gunasekaran, The Managing Proprietor of Sittruli Foundation, briefed the vision of the Sittruli team and the importance of starting with a game like Wheelchair Basketball.
After the Camp, the training started in Decathlon from March 10th, 2018 every week Sunday evening between 4.00pm to 9.00pm. 12 Male and 3 Female players started getting trained.
